For over three decades, I looked at skin through a professional lens. As a Licensed Texas Cosmetologist with over 30 years of beauty and skincare experience, I spent my career helping clients achieve their healthiest, most beautiful complexions. But over the years, I noticed a frustrating trend: more and more clients were coming to me with deeply damaged skin barriers, chronic redness, and extreme sensitivities caused by harsh, chemical-heavy mainstream products.

They were tired of sterile, water-filled synthetic lotions that promised quick fixes but delivered long-term irritation. I knew there had to be a better, gentler way—a return to a slower, more intentional style of care.

Lisa Monae Beauty was born out of a passion to bridge the gap between traditional ancestral nourishment and modern skin science. I discovered that when you strip away the synthetic fillers and return to bio-compatible, nutrient-dense ingredients like grass-fed beef tallow and pure manuka honey, the skin undergoes a beautiful transformation. Because tallow perfectly mirrors the molecular structure of human sebum, it absorbs deeply, carrying fat-soluble vitamins exactly where your skin barrier needs them most.

But I didn't stop at traditional balms. Drawing on my professional background, I meticulously blended these ancestral bases with advanced, clean botanical actives—like peptides, niacinamide, and bakuchiol.
